Experience & Towing

With extensive experience transporting a wide variety of horses, from 4-month-old foals to nervous and inexperienced travellers, I understand that every horse has different needs. My priority is always the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of the horses in my care.

I have travelled well over 15,000 km towing my current float, completing multiple interstate trips, including:

• Brisbane to Melbourne (4 trips)

• Sydney to Melbourne (6 trips)

• Countless journeys throughout Victoria and surrounding areas

During every trip, I stop approximately every two hours to check on each horse, top up hay and water as needed, and give them the opportunity to rest. Taking the time to ensure horses remain comfortable and settled throughout their journey is something I never compromise on.

I also have a spotless driving record, with no accidents, no fines, and a clean licence

My Tow Vehicle

My tow vehicle is a 2016 Ford Ranger, which has been my reliable towing vehicle for the past three years. It has proven to be exceptionally dependable and is well-equipped for long-distance horse transport.

Features include:

• Bull bar for added protection

• Dual 24,000-lumen spotlights, providing outstanding visibility on rural roads

• UHF radio, which remains on at all times while towing for communication and safety

• Electric brake controller for smooth and controlled towing

The vehicle is regularly maintained to ensure it remains safe, reliable, and ready for every trip. Before every trip no matter how long everything is checked from tires lights and breaks.

My Float

I transport horses in a 2023 Iron Horse 3-Horse Float, which I have owned since it was virtually brand new. It is a modern, well-maintained float that provides a safe, comfortable, and secure environment for horses of all ages and temperaments.

The float is equipped with:

• Electric brakes

• Breakaway braking system

• Internal cameras with two-way audio, allowing me to both monitor and communicate with the horses during travel

• Generous storage for hay, water, rugs, and travel essentials

• Three-saddle tack box for secure equipment storage

With a focus on safety, comfort, and attention to detail, I take pride in providing reliable and professional horse transport that gives owners complete peace of mind.
